For example: create a 256x128 image, create the first layer with a 128 pixel white square, set the opacity of the layer to 50%, then create a second layer, on the opposite side, create a gray square (color 888888 rgb), create a third layer under all the rest, and fill the third layer with black. The color of the first square is bfbfbf, the color of the second is 888888. But shouldn't the colors of both squares be the same? Because of this feature, it is very difficult to predict the colors of a semi-transparent image in other programs (as a user interface, for example). Is this a mistake, or is it supposed to be?
