[UI] Too little padding between offset and actual data
Hello everyone!
I started using the GNOME Hex Editor [GHex] recently and, as a UI designer, I have noticed some things about the GHex GUI:
- The hex offset is too close to the actual data. On the image below, you can see it is very difficult to see where 0x00000070 ends and where 8F starts.
- There seems to be an alignment problem on the input boxes, which seem to be aligned to the right corner, instead of being centered or at least use some padding.
- There seems to be a contrast problem when selecting text in dark mode, which might be related to the theme of my distro, but interesting nevertheless.
I'm starting to learn some things about GTK and I'd be interested on helping to fix these issues. If someone can guide me into that, I'd be very glad to help.
Thanks and have a good day!
