Windows CI/CD
I saw that there are a fair number of issues related to OpenCL crashes on Windows. I have been assigned to a project targeting improving the OpenCL back-end of GEGL. Part of that effort could be having native Windows runners in the CI/CD pipeline of GEGL.
My question is: is the project interested in such contributions? Would such MRs be accepted? If I were to do tackle the issue, I'd first try to get native builds of GEGL using MSVC and no compat layers, as it may be the source of some issues with the OpenCL ICD. Unless POSIX/GCC extensions are pervasive throughout the code, I believe it is not impossible to get native Windows builds. (I routinely port such libraries to Windows.)
