Classic color scheme in dark mode: pure/dark blue on dark gray is hard to read
In the default color scheme (Classic), the color blue/dark blue (#0000ff) is used as the color for comments in many programming languages. When in dark mode in Gnome (Adwaita Dark), this color is displayed on top of the background color dark grey (#2d2d2d). Text with this color is often very hard to read for me, especially when the font size is small and/or my brightness is low. Having a glossy LCD display (instead of a matte one) may also be a factor.
Screenshot below is an example.
I'd like to ask the gedit developers to change this color to one that contrasts better with both the dark mode background and the light mode one, or to create a second 'Classic Dark' color scheme that is adjusted to look better on dark backgrounds.
