Provide OAuth2 option for “other email providers”
Feature Summary
Context. My employer has both Gmail and Office365 accounts. Per policy we must use the Office365 account for sending emails. For practicality I am using the Gmail account for receiving emails. I setup this with “Other email providers” to have a gmail.com IMAP and an office365.com SMTP. Unfortunately it appears that Google is starting to disabling completely non OAuth2 logins. As reported in issue #127 (closed), the GOA system does not allow for alternative SMTP so using it does not allow me to respect my employer's policy.
How would you like it to work
Generic support for OAuth2 authentication for “Other email providers” (separately for IMAP and SMTP if they are from a different provider), if at all feasible.

Thunderbird apparently supports this in the following way when setting up an account.
