Multiple problem reports per account piling up
Bug Summary
I am running Fedora 31 and enabled Geary's "Watch for new mail when closed". When I come back after a few hours and open my Notebook Geary shows me a bunch of "Account problems". There are usually between 1 and 20 messages cluttering the UI. I guess that Geary encounters these errors during a locked screen or suspension or whatever but this is quite annoying.
Your installation
I cannot open the Geary inspector so I did this manually:
- Geary version: 3.34.2
- Installation method: via dnf
- Desktop environment: Gnome 3.34.3
- Operating system and version: Fedora 31
- Email provider: IMAP/SMTP
Steps to reproduce
- Close Geary (with "Watch for new mail when closed" enabled in preferences)
- Wait a while, suspend the notebook, etc.
- Come back to Geary, et voila.
What happened?
Covering more than half the sceen with bsolete error messages. Here is a screenshot of the left part of these messages:
What did you expect to happen?
Either fail silently or cleanup old error messages after the last successful attempt.
