Steps to reproduce
- Gmail Account has failure shown in Gnome
- Use Geary
- No indicators or anything is shown that Gnome linked Gmail account is in error
- Wonder why there is no mail
What happened?
What did Geary do that was unexpected? I have 4 accounts linked to Gnome using Gmail. For a few months now (I don't use it as main driver) each time I opened Geary there was no new email coming in. This was annoying, but when I clicked on account in Geary nothing was shown out of the ordinary. Today I googled a bit for Geary sync issues and discovered the CTRL SHIFT I inspector. There it said that there was a issue with the account. Then I looked for the Gnome Online Accounts settings app, and there it showed that I needed to resign in.
What did you expect to happen? If there is a error in Gnome Online Accounts, it should show that in Geary.
What did you expect Geary to do?
Show a message in the accounts section that the account needs fixing or so. I assume this info is queryable from Gnome, so it would be useful to display a error badge there or so.
