Cannot send mail to multiple recipient using semicolon
Bug Summary
When writing an email to multiple recipients, I'd like to separate multiple recipients using semicolon, e.g. first@my.recipient;second@my.recipient
Your installation
To obtain installation information, copy it from Geary's Problem Report dialog if shown (or else open the Geary Inspector by typing Shift + Alt + I) by selecting System, and clicking the Copy button, then pasting here.
- Geary version: 44.1
- Installation method: Flathub
- Desktop environment: Gnome
- Operating system and version: Fedora 39
- Email provider: something else
Steps to reproduce
- Write a new mail
- Add multiple recipients in the form
first@my.recipient;second@my.recipient
- send email
What happened?
The first recipient is picked and everything behind the first semicolon is dropped without any warning
What did you expect to happen?
Email should be sent to all recipients
