I don't have any logs or screen shots for this. What I can say is that I have a large mailbox of about 61,000 emails. When I search the mailbox, for a particular person's name, i get 2 results, when in fact there are dozens of emails with this person. The name appears in the "from" name and the "from" email address as well as in their signature in the body of the email.
Doing the same search in thunderbird returns immediately results of 41 threads and over 100 emails going back to may. geary returned only 2 emails the first time. several minutes later it returned 9 threads with 15 emails. going back to november.
I also tried another search for a city "Cumberland". The first time i did the search, nothing appeared. when i tried the search again to write this report, one thread appeared with 3 emails. Doing the search in thunderbird I get 20+ results.
After this, i went back to search for the name, and now it shows 11 threads and 54 emails. going back to july.
I cleared the search and tried again, this time it only gave me the 9 and 15 back to november.
The search results seem to be inconsistent. Maybe there is something going on the background and it's not updating as it finds new results?
