Geary happily shows outdated or empty-while-folder-isnt-tempty folder views with no loading indicator [mobile only/when window is too small for folder list view]
Geary will apparently show outdated or empty-while-folder-isnt-tempty folder views with no visual indicator of any kind that the actual contents are still being loaded. This is a huge problem with slow mobile connections where Geary sometimes takes multiple minutes, leaving me to stare at a white empty list forever to guess if the folder is actually empty or if Geary is still going to load its contents. I also have often sent mail, wanted to check in the sent mail folder - but it wasn't there, no loading indicator, leaving me unsure whether it was sent out until it finally showed up minutes later.
Any sort of simple spinner in a corner indicating the conversations list view is still being updated would be a huge life saver in those situations. Sure, I might still need to wait a minute or two for things to fully refresh on slow mobile connections, but at least I don't need to be unsure for tens of minutes if maybe something will show up still or not since currently I just can't tell if Geary is still doing something or the view is final.
