I love Geary, but I also love the Plasma desktop. The only way I can get Geary to store account credentials on Plasma is to install gnome-keyring and type in my password again after logging in. If I recall correctly, this is also true of other non-GNOME based desktops. It would be really cool if Geary were able to store credentials using libsecret when gnome-keyring is not detected so that users of other desktops do not have to enter their password again after logging in.
How would you like it to work
It would be cool if it were to be a sort of "just works" implementation; on first run Geary could try contacting gnome-keyring and proceed using it if it were to successfully find it, and if not, it would try libsecret and do the same.
Thank you so much for an incredible email client and I appreciate all the work you do! Keep it up!
