After changing keyboard layout in gnome, gdm keyboard layout remains the same
Software info: I am on fedora 39 with gnome 45.3
What happened: When I installed fedora 39, the installation program automatically set my keyboard layout to Italian as I live in Italy so it assumed I must have an Italian keyboard layout I have an English keyboard, so I went to system-settings->keyboard->input and removed Italian and switched to english(usa)
The Problem: After changing the keyboard layout gnome shells works properly, the lockscreen hasnt reflected the change and still uses Italian keyboard layout which makes me get my password wrong because the symbols are on a different key If I press windows-key + l to lock the screen, when I enter my password the keyboard layout is the right one, the problem occurs after first startup of the system or when logging out altogether and having to log in again
What I expect: If I change Keyboard layout it should be changed everywhere
Additional notes: I have my region and language still set to italian as you can see from screenshot, I dont know if it has something to do with it but it shouldnt
