Description
Created attachment 214830 A picture of the screen artifact
Overview: The artefact screen is blue and probably is the gdm background, the picture then fades into black and white spots. This happens about 1/2 times when logging out of a session started from GDM. This happens with any window managers from GNOME, Cinnamon, awesome, XFCE, LDE, MATE, but only happens when started from GDM. In version 3.2, a session would log out and the screen would gitch when, but not exclusively, watching flash videos. This does not happen in 3.4, but random log outs do happen without the glitching.
Steps to reproduce:
- Start GDM
- Log in as regular user
- Log out
- If it doesn't happen on the first try, it almost always will the second time.
Actual Result: Log in screen is unusable, screen fades to black. User is forced to reboot.
Expected Result: Log in screen should be visible, screen should be stable.
