RAW (NEF) files show very small images

Description
Similar to bug: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=682601
NEF files are shown with the smallest resolution embedded preview thumbnail when other LARGER embedded images (JPG) are also available in the same file.
EOG should find the the largest embedded image available in the RAW file and use that for display - NO raw decoding is required (as referenced by the similar bug).
NEF preview/embedded image handling is available in exiv2 to extract the largest preview image.

example raw file: $ exiv2 -pp 20160128_0003.nef Preview 1: image/tiff, 160x120 pixels, 57600 bytes Preview 2: image/jpeg, 570x375 pixels, 102192 bytes Preview 3: image/jpeg, 3008x2000 pixels, 727447 bytes
EOG pulls and uses the 160x120 when the full 6mplx file when a 6mplx jpg is available
