Redirect should not modify message headers
Redirecting a message (Message>Forward As>Redirect) within Evolution modifies the Date: header to be NOW, apart from including the current time in Resent-Date. This breaks the DKIM signature and makes the message ineligible for delivery, when it originates from DMARC protected domain. In addition, Evolution includes a second new line between the end of headers and the first MIME part, changes Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit to quoted-printable, reformats the text/html MIME part and includes a Content-Transfer-Encoding: header without a value.
Horde implements Mail redirect by showing the user a dialog to enter destination addresses and once the dialog is closed, the message is redirected unmodified.
- On the Redirect action, do not change existing headers, or the body of the message
