Evolution won't authenticate my iCloud account
Yesterday (Tue. 30 Jan 2024), the iCloud server was down for about 2-3 hours, then was restored. Since that time, Evolution won't authenticate my iCloud account, even though I correctly input the password. It asks for the authentication repeatedly. Since the outage, the iCloud email account shows emails that existed at the time of the outage, but not new emails. That is to be expected.
Specifically, the pop-up says "Mail authentication request / Please enter the password for mail account "iCloud email" (host: imap.mail.me.com). Whenever I enter or confirm the password, it immediately pops up with a repeat request. If I want to cancel the operation, it takes about 3 cancels before it stops for awhile. Then the notification reappears some time later to "bug" me with another authentication request.
I'm using Evolution 3.50.3 by Flathub.org.
