Move message to folder - suggest target based on where I last moved messages from the same thread/topic
I deal with a lot of mail every day, and most of it is from individuals (not mailing lists, bug trackers, etc.).
I try to keep my inbox at zero messages, and move messages into folders and subfolders as soon as I reply to a mail.
While I have mostly automated the management of mail from mailing lists, bug trackers, etc. using filters, moving mail from individuals is a manual task, and I mostly use ctrl+shift+v to move them with the keyboard.
If Evolution could remember where I have moved the last message from a particular thread, it would make my life a lot easier. I would call this "move to this topic's folder".
Currently, Evolution pre-selects the target in the dialog based on the last used folder - this is probably good for batch moving of similar mails, but doesn't fit my use case where I move mails from many different topics or threads in no particular order.
So as not to disrupt other people's workflow, perhaps another shortcut (e.g. ctrl+shift+alt+v) could trigger "move to folder of this topic".
I don't expect an automatic move and would rather prefer to see the same dialog I get with ctrl+shift+v (where I can also change the target) and confirm with "enter" (or a click on "move").
