Autocompletion only uses "starts with" instead of searching for words in the middle of the name string for contact lists
As observed in Evolution 3.46.1 from Fedora 37, if you have for example:
- An addressbook individual contact named "Comité technique 1" (pointing to a gmail address for example)
- An addressbook contact list named "Comité technique 2" (with multiple email addresses in the list)
...in the mail composer's "To:" field, if you type "Comit" both 1 and 2 will show. However, if you type "technique", only no.1 will show. Both should show; this is the reason I can't easily email my contact lists because oftentimes they don't show up in autocompletion results at all, in part because I didn't know there was this different behavior here, and even if I now know this I couldn't possibly remember what a contact list's name is supposed to "start with" everytime.
