When inserting a HR (horizontal rule line) in an HTML email, the resulting text cursor appears before the HR instead of the following line
This was tested again on Evolution 3.42.4 today, but this issue has been happening with every previous version of Evolution before, I just never remembered to report it.
- Open a mail composer in HTML mode
- Write some blah blah on the first line/paragraph
- Click the ruler button to insert an "hr", click Close to OK it (that close button should probably be a standard "OK" button, by the way)
Result: the text cursor is at the beginning of the HR's line, instead of cleanly positioned on the line below/after it.
Pressing Enter (or down arrow, or simply typing text) to try to continue writing text after the ruler does work right now¹, but it's visually confusing, because it seems like the cursor is stuck to the beginning of the HR, and it suddenly jumps down into position. It might be a symptom of an underlying bug, or it might be just a visual glitch, I'm not sure.
Here's a video showing how it looks/feels like on my Fedora 35 machine:

¹: For a long time I thought it was unable to set the cursor on its own line after an inserted HR if inserted at the end of the existing contents area, but then I realized today that this might just be a visual glitch (unless it actually was a problem too and I'm somehow unable to trigger the original issue right now)
