Previously, I would be able to set a particular filter from the "Show" drop-down (to the left of the search bar) for a given folder and that selection would be used for that folder when I returned to it. E.g. I would show all messages in one folder belonging to one account, and only show unread messages in a different folder of a different account. As I clicked between those folders that preference (held as state) would be set depending on which folder I had clocked to and the view of my emails would be filtered according to that choice.
That was a nice little quality of life boon as it was a quick and easy way of filtering different inboxes according to their different usages.
Since upgrading, the selection no longer tracks which folder I'm viewing and the "Show" drop-down maintains the state of whatever it was last set to (irrespective of what folder was being viewed when that filter was chosen). So now, each time i select a new folder to view I have to change the drop-down selection to get the filter than I'm used to.
