Camel: Recognize disabled algorithms with S/MIME signatures
I've received an S/MIME signed email and evolution shows a warning that the signature is invalid.
When I export the email as a mbox file and verify this file via openssl smime -verify -in message.mbox
, openssl tells me about the content and that the verification was successful. So it seems it is signed correctly.
As far as I can tell, openssl also verifies (some portions) of the trust chain - openssl smime -verify -CAfile /etc/pki/ca-trust/extracted/pem/directory-hash/T-TeleSec_GlobalRoot_Class_2.pem -in message.mbox
- and tells me that everything is okay.
Adding CAMEL_DEBUG=all
won't print anything S/MIME related, telling me why the verification fails.
Can I somehow find the reason, why evolution tells me that the signature is invalid?
EDIT: I'm on
- Fedora 37
- evolution 3.46.4 (3.46.4-1.fc37)
