Save UI issue
Currently when saving an edited PDF-Document the user is always prompted with a GtkFileChooserDialog
whereas it should be "normal" that no dialog is displayed at all. I don't know if this was suggested before (couldn't find anything in the issues list) but how about this:
- Replace the current
Ctrl
+S
mechanism with Save instead of Save as- => don't display a
GtkFileChooserDialog
; replace the current original file with the edited one
- => don't display a
- Add a
Ctrl
+Shift
+S
shortcut which implements the mechanism Save as- => display a
GtkFileChooserDialog
; leave the current original file and ask the user where to save the file
- => display a
I feel like the current state which displays a GtkFileChooserDialog
whenever you try to save an edited file can get pretty annoying. Any thoughts about this?
