[Regression] F3 (Shift+F3) as an Accelerator for "Find Next" ("Find Prev") stopped working

Description
I have been using evince for quite some time, and liked it very much so far, but since I switched to Linux Mint 17 (evince 3.10.3) I am annoyed by the fact that the F3 key does no longer work to cycle through the different occurrences of a search. I know I can use Ctrl+G, but that's not the way I am used to.
Ideally I should just be able to modify the default accelerator using the standard GNOME way, i.e., enabling the accelerator modification flag in dconf, hover the menu item corresponding to "Find Next", and set my custom accelerator by pressing it.
The issue is: there is no "Find Next" nor "Find Previous" menu item, so I cannot change the accelerator. By searching through the bug archive, I can see these items were present in the past, and were apparently removed recently. Can you add them back? If this is not possible, can you add F3 (and Shift+F3) to the list of accelerators for Find Next (Find Previous, respectively)? In the event none of this is feasible, is there a "lower-level" way I can modify the accelerator myself? For example by editing some configuration file somewhere.
Thanks.
