Opening print dialog disables interaction on all copies of the document
Intended behavior
Opening the print dialog should not have an impact on the behavior of any opened copies of that same document.
Actual behavior
Opening the print dialog disables all interactions on the copies of that same document (scrolling, clicking on the triple-dot menu, etc.). This is extremely annoying when I'm trying to figure out which pages I want to print, as I can't freely scroll on the side-by-side copy, but need to manually write them down somewhere else first, then open the print dialog.
Steps to reproduce
- open a random PDF
- open a copy of it (either
Menu > Open a Copy
orCtrl
+N
) - in either of them, open the printing dialog
Workaround
The easiest workaround is to literally make a copy of the original file; however, this has the downside that I then need to remember to delete it afterwards, and makes the workflow cumbersome as I need to switch to the file manager often.
