Provide option for transparent link borders

Description
Hi,
you certainly know those colored frames are links within your PDF file. However, to the best of my knowledge you can specify the color, the thickness (AFAIK an integer value), but no opacity/alpha value. However, when viewing your favourite Latex document, these colored frames are somewhat in the way.
For example, if a colored frame is round the "1" in [1], then the [] are barely readable.
If I'm right, and the PDF spec doesn't allow for any opacity or thickness between 1 and 0, then I would appreciate if the Reader would allow to make those frames transparent.
Not sure, whether this is something that evince can do. If not, I will request this feature from the poppler guys and report results back here.
