Temporary file in /tmp not removed after opening compressed PDF
I can use Evince to open a gzip compressed PDF like "a.pdf.gz". Evince decompresses the PDF to temporary file like /tmp/evince-12345/comp.ABCDY1
.
However, after I close the Evince window, the temporary file is not automatically removed.
Detailed way to reproduce:
- Find any PDF file, compress it using gzip. Or use a.pdf.gz.
- Open the PDF file using
evince a.pdf.gz
. - See temporary file created in
/tmp/evince-$PID/
, e.g./tmp/evince-12345/comp.ABCDY1
. - Close the Evince window.
- See the temporary file still exists.
Expected behavior: the temporary file is removed after Evince closes.
