Badly kerned "A" when printing pdftex document using Nimbus Roman
When I open a pdf in evince that uses Nimbus Roman and print it, the capital A is printed with incorrect kerning such that the next character overwrites the A. For example for a.tex containing the following:
\documentclass[12pt,a4paper]{article}
\usepackage{times}
\begin{document}
Average.
\end{document}
I run pdflatex a.tex
which generates a.pdf that looks like this in evince:
If I print to file using evince it generates print.pdf that looks like this in evince:
If I print using the printer, it has the same issue, so printing to file and printing to device both fail the same way. Printing a.pdf using another programme such as okular works with no issue.
I had this problem on Fedora 36 and still have this on the Fedora 37 preview.
