Revert "location-entry: ensure placeholder text is not displayed when unfocused"

This reverts commit 754a46e5.

This was needed to avoid breaking after !1493 (merged), but that has been reverted, so now it's just weird and annoying. It no longer makes sense for typed changes to be lost when unfocusing.
