Keep the URL fragment identifier after an HTTP redirect

Description
Epiphany doesn't keep the fragment-identifier part of the URL after an HTTP redirection.
For example, when loading http://example.com/#something, if the server is configured to redirect to http://www.example.com/mysite/, epiphany will open the new URL but #something will be lost.
With today's increasingly popular one-page websites, which heavily rely on fragment-identifiers for navigation, this issue effectively breaks the ability for those sites to have permalinks.
This issue could be related with bug 628925, but not sure it is a duplicate.
