Autosearch blocks the address bar
- Epiphany version (from About Web in the main menu): 45.2
- WebKitGTK version (from About Web -> Troubleshooting -> Debugging Information): 2.42.5
- Distributor (Linux operating system, Flathub, Epiphany Tech Preview, etc.): archlinux
When typing address bar, the autosearch popup blocks half the address bar.
I am using i3-wm (4.23), my intuition tells me the displacement equals the i3 navbar height, although changing epiphany to fullscreen doesn't help.
Also, I tried to set the autosearch to false:
$ gsettings get org.gnome.Epiphany.web:/org/gnome/Epiphany/web/ enable-autosearch
false
Doesn't make a difference. (and anyway, the autosearch pops up regardless of whether the search looks like an url or not - I can submit a separate issue for that if you like)
$ gsettings describe org.gnome.Epiphany.web:/org/gnome/Epiphany/web/ enable-autosearch
Whether to automatically search the web when something that does not look like a URL is entered in the address bar. If this setting is disabled, everything will be loaded as a URL unless a search engine is explicitly selected from the dropdown menu.
