I am on a disk-bound machine (X200 with 2GB of memory). When there are multiple keystrokes per time-slice, and I am typing into a text field, groups of characters appear in reverse order in the text field. I became satisfied that I was not typoing when, typing 'urbandictionary.com', all of 'ndictionary.com' was tidily in reverse order.
I do not have this experience in Pluma, the forked MATE text editor.
This could be new since org.gnome.platform/45.
