Poor performance on 4K resolution
Console lags badly at fullscreen on my 4K monitor. If I resize the terminal down to 100x25, everything is buttery smooth. The more I increase the size, the laggier it gets. On fullscreen it's VERY noticable. Text input is slowed, text selection with the mouse is also slowed.
Gnome Terminal runs a lot smoother (almost perfect, but still slows down a little bit) on the exact same machine, with the exact same window size. Tilix also runs smoother than Console, although a bit slower than Gnome Terminal
Fractional scaling is enabled (150%) if that matters.
OS: Fedora 37
DE: GNOME 43.0 Wayland
Console version: KGX 43.rc using VTE 0.70.0 +BIDI +GNUTLS +ICU +SYSTEMD
CPU: Intel Core i5-6400
GPU: Intel HD Graphics 530 (i915 driver)
Let me know if I can do some other tests, so we can find the cause.
