Automatically remember the window's last used dimensions (width and height)
It is annoying to resize the window each time I start the application, especially since the small initial size does not efficiently use the space on high resolution screens. We're not in the eighties with a 80-columns physical limitation anymore, and while I don't necessarily need to fill my ultrawide display everytime (or even half of it), the default size of the Console app is impractical for me, especially its height, so I have to resize it everytime. This is redundant "work" and the user should not have to do this everytime.
Scrolling sucks, treat the window like a physical object that retains its properties, etc.
GNOME Terminal allowed me to set a preferred width and height, but to me that felt like a stopgap, it would have felt more natural to me if it simply automagically remembered the dimensions.
Technical note: the window's size/maximization state should be set before the window is shown.
