calls vs gnome-calls, branding/naming confusion
Hi. For visibility reasons I post this on here, even if it's not really a bug, but more of a branding/naming issue.
On Topic
I'd like to package calls for Arch Linux. What seems to be not a big deal gave me a little nightmare on how to name the package.
The tarball, the git-repo is called calls
, the binary however is gnome-calls
. Fedora names it calls
, the calls-official Debian packaging recipe names it gnome-calls
, even with a replace for calls
. The flatpak is called org.gnome.Calls
This is nothing but confusing on the packaging side. So here am I, asking for a good advice on to move forward and asking to maybe change to one naming scheme for everything
