SIP connectivity issues when Client A uses TLS and Client B doesn't (UDP/TCP)
The scene: Client A is using TLS; Client B is using UDP/TCP
- A initiates call with B
- B can accept fine
- At some point B want's to hang up; but the BYE request never reaches A
- Some time later the BYE times out (
408 Request Timeout
) and the call state changes toDISCONNECTED
-> no more "active" call as seen from B - However A never saw the BYE and the call is still considered ongoing
- A hangs up
- B receives the BYE from A and responds with
481 Call does not exist
