Brasero does not fixate DVDs properly

Growisofs is running with these parameters. growisofs-use-the-force-luke=notray-dvd-compat-speed=2-use-the-force-luke=tty-use-the-force-luke=tracksize:2047570-Z/dev/scd0-r-J-input-charsetutf8-graft-points-D-path-list/tmp/brasero_tmp_AlEv4N/brasero_tmp_I2NUBU-exclude-list/tmp/brasero_tmp_AlEv4N/brasero_tmp_3KNUBU-VData disc (24 May 08)-ABrasero-0.6.1-sysidLINUX-v
I also see that genisoimage is sitting as a zombie process.

I expect it to burn my data disc correctly.
If I kill growisofs, Brasero reports that the burn succeeded, but my disc is unreadable.
I tried 3 DVDs now called coasters. 1 of them stopped with an input/output error which was caused by DVD speeds higher than 2x. Two of them were coasters due to the fixating problem.
My drive is a writer included in my laptop, Acer Aspire 5920g. I'm not sure of the exact make on this. I suppose I could do dmesg in a few minutes.
