Description
Created attachment 166686 brasero session log of a failed audio cd via cdrdao session
Hi,
brasero 2.30.2 just failed to burn an audio CD on my Thinkpad T41's (admittedly aged) internal CD drive via cdrdao. Please find the brasero session log attached to this report.
From what I can read in this log, cdrdao somehow failed to execute power calibration on this drive and thus quit with an error message and the advice to try again with the --force option. Brasero, however, quit with a rather obscure error message that I do not remember exactly but still know that it didn't provide me any of the information that cdrdao spit on stderr. Having said this, it would be cool if brasero could check the cdrdao error message and then offer me to try burning the disc again - this time with the --force option. It would be even cooler if passing --force to cdrdao could be permanently activated in the cdrdao plugin settings or if brasero would just silently start a second attempt and burn with --force if it detects the first attempt (without --force option) has failed.
Cheers, Fabian
