If RegisterKeystrokeListener fails, Atspi should still be responsive
This may be a WONTFIX/INVALID/DUH, but....
An Orca user reported that on Wayland, Orca is sometimes laggy/not responsive when using Spotify. The problem reportedly does not happen with X. This user indicated that errors such as the following were present:
(orca:56818): dbind-WARNING **: 17:19:14.466: RegisterKeystrokeListener
failed: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote
application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy
blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection
was broken.
And asked "shouldn't Orca be detecting focus changes and responding to them regardless?"
My response was that Orca "detects" focus changes and responds to them via Atspi. Here's my question: When RegisterKeystrokeListener fails, does this prevent Atspi from firing events, responding to queries, etc.? If the answer is "yes," any chance it could become "no"?
@mgorse: Apologies in advance if I'm being an idiot. I haven't had time to look into this further....
