This is currently untested since I had trouble generating the Makefile. Additions were made analogous to the tun_ipv6 option. This is also still missing translation for the new option.
This might help solving issue #27 (closed).
I had some error with ./configure and ./autogen.sh and I probably ran them incorrectly have missing dependencies. But I couldn't find the right docs how to build.
I could use some help with building and testing to make this MR ready.
PS: I just gave this a try since it seemed easy enough to just copy another existing option but I understand little of the details around it. I also tried not to change the default and enable it by default.
