Regression in saving server certificate hash
If the server's certificate is invalid when connecting for the first time, the user is warned and can confirm an exception. In Fedora 29, this used to save the certificate's hash in the configuration file (in /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/
) so that the user would not be bothered with the same warning screen next time. This does not work anymore in Fedora 30 and the hash is not saved. But it does work if I take the configuration from Fedora 29 and use it in Fedora 30. So it is just saving the hash that does not work anymore.
Relevant package versions are:
Fedora 29
gnome-shell 3.30.1-2
NetworkManager 1.12.4-1
NetworkManager-openconnect 1.2.4-10
openconnect 7.08-8
Fedora 30
gnome-shell 3.32.1-1
NetworkManager 1.16.0-1
NetworkManager-openconnect 1.2.4-11
openconnect 8.02-3
The NetworkManager-openconnect
package is almost the same so this might be related to a change in either NetworkManager
or openconnect
. Or did I leave anything important out?
