When calling the searchbar with Ctrl+F with content text pre-selected, the searchentry's text cursor is at the beginning of the resulting string
- Select some text (ex.: "banana apples") in a PDF document in Papers
Ctrl+F
- Optional: with the searchbar still open, select some other text and press
Ctrl+F
again
Result: the text typing cursor in the searchentry is at the beginning of the string, i.e. "|banana apples" (where | is the text cursor).
Expected result: the searchentry's text should be all preselected, consistent with other applications.
You can test this behavior with Firefox, LibreOffice, Gedit, Builder, Chromium, etc.
(Epiphany has the same bug as Papers)
