Let user add a folder shortkey without forcing user to install samba
I had to install samba.
Gnome sucks.
I also got the same error.
pranav@Inspi5548:~$ exec nautilus
Nautilus-Share-Message: 17:35:34.243: Called "net usershare info" but it failed: Failed to execute child process “net” (No such file or directory)
I wasn't trying to create a shortkey to launch my certain folder with "Super + D" using this command exec nautilus /home/pranav/Documents
.
Because there is no user-friendly option to create a shortcut of the folder I want. I came here looking for an answer.
But just for this simple issue, I need to install another piece of software make me sick. Gnome suck. Install another opensource file manager which is a bit modern and save your valuable time.
I did tried all the above method. I am forced to install samba which I am not ready to do yet unless i need samba.
