Description
Parts of "make install" seem to try to install to the global plugin path instead of the one defined with "./configure --prefix=foo":
test -z "/usr/lib64/gimp/2.0/plug-ins" || mkdir -p -- "/usr/lib64/gimp/2.0/plug-ins"
/usr/bin/install -c 'gap_bluebox' '/usr/lib64/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/gap_bluebox'
/usr/bin/install: cannot create regular file /usr/lib64/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/gap_bluebox': Permission denied make[2]: *** [install-libexecPROGRAMS] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory
/home/daniel/docs/download/linux/gimp-plugins/gimp-gap-2.4.0/gap'
make[1]: *** [install-am] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/daniel/docs/download/linux/gimp-plugins/gimp-gap-2.4.0/gap'
make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1
Steps to reproduce:
-
Set the prefix (in configure) to anything, but make sure that the default target directories are not writable.
-
make
-
make install -> Will fail after some successful lines.
