Screenshot defaults to Selection after every reboot
Save the state (selection/screen/window, and maybe video/single) between initiailizations.

Removed label because I don't know if this is a bug or a feature but I already typed it
This happens on US keyboards too.
When the target directory (~/Pictures/Screenshots/) is full, application shows no message to the user, silently losing data.
This is as far as I got:

Might be similar to #176
Note to self:
I'll try to get into contact with the authors over the next few days and report back.
This is what I think they will say though -- you need to use different weights as that's how the engine is coded.
And that's the basis of the Maia addition -- it's easier to beat them.
But we'll see.
Funny, it's one of those things you forget as soon as you write it. I was thinking about a follow up post, and I couldn't remember my motivations, specifically for "dynamic discovery", which in my mind is a different thing from looking them up in the config directory.
As to the config directory, that is basically to provide for different weights files in lc0 (or similar options in other engines).
I know you seem to want to keep the code as simple as possible, but I think this would add flexibility without extending the codebase too much.
I think I can manage it with shell scripts, but with this idea GNOME Chess would have to change to allow dynamic discovery of engines, like looking for binaries or descriptions in ~/.config/gnome-chess/engines, which arguably it should be doing anyway.
What do you think about this?
And about the flags -- I seen that before, but hadn't considered temperature. I played a couple games on various levels of temperature and seemed to lose most of them so this might not be a solution.
From a glance a the source, it doesn't seem so.
Though it does have a command line option --weights which can be used to tune the engine.
This is useful for playing with custom engines (bots?) like Maia Chess, but that would requires some programming and UI support to implement.
I'm training one to play against myself ;)
But more to the point, I'm thinking about whether this violates the simplicity of the application or not. Your guidance would be appreciated.
Added new engine.
Don't know if it's ok to add to old branches as well.
