The goal is to celebrate and appreciate the efforts of these individuals, encouraging continued engagement and participation within the GNOME community.

This label is applied to tasks related to posting content on our social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.

This label is used for tasks related to documentation efforts within the GNOME project. It includes creating, updating, and maintaining documentation resources to provide guidance, instructions, and information about GNOME technologies, projects, and processes.

This label is used for any technical initiative aimed at helping users understand how to use GNOME technologies or contribute to the GNOME project. It can also be applied to initiatives related to open-source development.

These are tasks that we have accepted but we cannot work on yet, for timing reasons.

Tasks that have an owner and are being worked on. Other labels can indicate status (e.g. red: blocked, etc).

Owner is blocked by something external.

Needs additional information to be diagnosed and/or resolved

Stuff that is (or has become) unactionable: too vague, too big, or stalled for so long that nobody remembers why we wanted to do it.

Ideas that stalled not necessarily because they are blocked on something else or the "timing isn't right", but because nobody has actively been working on it anymore
