Support restricting VNC access to localhost only (ie, via SSH)
VNC as a service is typically insecure (reliant on a password truncated to at most 8 characters). I'd like to be able to run the service but without exposing it to my network. This can be achieved by binding to the local interface only and then accessing the service over SSH. In vino this was could be achieved by setting
To do this within gnome-remote-desktop, it would require support to choose which interfaces the service binds to, or at least provide a way to bind only to localhost. Either option will help people run VNC securely by only allowing access through SSH.
