This is not necessarily a bug, but it raises questions about what applications might want and expect when testing for clipboard persistence and using that functionality.
This follows on from a discussion [here](https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/merge_requests/320#note_654438). A brief summary:

Currently (GNOME 3.34, F31), clicking the vertical 3 dots at the bottom of the list allows you to search it. However, searching by the text which is in each entry doesn’t work: if I search for ‘English’, I get a lot of results (one for each English-speaking region), but if I then include the region in my search term, I get no results.
Searching for the region by itself (‘Canada’ in the example below) seems to bring up the right results for that.
See the screenshots below.
This happens in the language selector in ‘Region & Language’ and also in ‘Users’ (I guess they’re the same widget).

I noticed that OpenVPN configuration files `.ovpn` do not have their own icons. There is [a request](https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-control-center/issues/718) for gnome-control-center to be able to manage `.ovpn` files. I think this is a great idea, and that would need to have an associated icon.
I am not sure what would fit the most between something recalling the "configuration" idea, or the "secure network" idea.

- The updates list indicates that there are OS updates to be installed.
- I click "Update & Restart". The button switches to "Cancel", and nothing happens.
- I wait. Still nothing happens.
- Eventually, after some time, I click "Cancel".
- After a bit more time, a plain "Restart" system dialog pops up (no mention of updates). I assume that it's a delayed request to restart with the new update, so I restart.
- After restarting I go back to the updates view. No OS updates are listed, so I assume that the update has been installed.
- After a little while, a notification is shown: "An update has been installed. A restart is required for it to take effect." I click the body of the notification and it disappears.
- I'm left with no visible way to restart into the new version: there's no indication that there's an update pending, and when I go to restart the system there is no indication that restarting will apply a new version.
During the course of this process, I also tried clicking on a "Restart & Update" button for an outstanding firmware update that I had. That silently disappeared after I clicked it, with no restart dialog or response.
In sum: I'd started out with two updates that I'd wanted to install, had seemingly failed to install both of them, and was left with an updates view that was saying "software is up to date" - leaving me with no visible way to proceed.https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/geary/-/issues/643Make "s" shortcut a toggle shortcut2023-10-17T18:10:48ZJimmy SciontiMake "s" shortcut a toggle shortcutHi,

# Description of the feature
The new Newsprint plugin has no parameters for SPI and LPI, like the previous Newsprint plugin. It seems like the available settings now are labels that print designers don't really use for halftone generation. The labels are not even standard terms used in print design for halftones.
# Use cases
1. Add SPI parameter / setting
2. Add LPI parameter / setting
