# Bug information #
Given a larger text file such that the editor is scrollable, selecting a word and scrolling down below the window border causes the editor to scroll down. This works fine using single-clicks, but does not work when the first word is selected using double clicks.
## Steps to reproduce ##
- Create a new file and make the window small enough such that the editor is scrollable
- Double click a word at the top of the file and move the cursor down below the window border
- Experience that editor does not scroll
## Current behaviour ##
What happened that made it evident there was a problem?
Copy and paste the exact text of any error messages.
Use code blocks (```) to format them.
Is there any error information in the system journal? You may be able
to find errors using (`sudo journalctl -xb`).

This is not exposed in GtkFileDialog's API. Intitially there was a `current-folder` property that some mistakenly used to replace the FileChooser API, however this was incorrect.
Now it's been more appropriately renamed to `initial-folder`.
If an app wants to save the most recently used folder to re-use as `initial-folder`, they need a way to save the last used folder.https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/NetworkManager-openvpn/-/issues/115gnome-shell leaves zombie networkmanager-openvpn-auth processes unreaped2023-10-06T20:00:44ZSamuel B.gnome-shell leaves zombie networkmanager-openvpn-auth processes unreapedWhen I stop VPN-connection with GUI or nmcli, a zombie process is created. I use this a lot. Unfortunately this does not work when switching scan mode e.g. from text scan to image scan.
I often want to scan the same document first greyscale and then in color and save it in the same pdf.
Unfortunately when I have scanned the document in greyscale, set my custom cropping area, then change to color scan and scan the same page again, the custom cropping selection gets messed up and instead of just using my cropping selection, some random other selection is applied to the color scan. Like this, I just dont get the exact same selection for the greyscale and color scan.
In my opinion document scanner should just keep the cropping selection that I have set. This would be really helpful.

<!-- Describe the current behavior. -->
Drag and Drop files across file systems changed behavior and instead of creating a copy, it creates a link.
This behavior change leads the user to believe the file is copied (despite the minor link badge that is barely visible on list mode) and eventually delete the file on the original filesystem

I recently got a new laptop, a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 carbon generation 10 with windows 11, I did a dual boot on it now I have Ubuntu 22 running on it too. I mostly use Ubuntu but have failed to make the webcam in Ubuntu work. Has anyone faced this or know how to make the cheese camera work in Ubuntu 22?

Improving the font selection box would make choosing fonts easier, having to write and memorize the font used is often frustrating.

Changing keyboard brightness with helper scripts from terminal works, so it's not a hardware issue.
`cat /sys/class/leds/asus\:\:kbd_backlight/brightness` returns 0 and `cat /sys/class/leds/asus\:\:kbd_backlight/max_brightness` return 3, so it isn't a kernel issue.
The error in journalctl after pressing the keyboard shortcut:
`gsd-power[2471]: gsd_power_backlight_abs_to_percentage: assertion 'max > min' failed`
