Installing Gimp, then starting Gimp by clicking on any .xcf file will cause crash reports of some plugins related to libgcc_s_seh-1.dll in the windows event log.
Gimp will still start fine, and there doesn't seem to be any other issue besides the message in the Eventviewer though it is reproducable on my Setup. It also seems to happen only when starting GIMP for the first time after installation. So to reproduce it it's best to wipe out everything GIMP related before (Appdata) and then reinstalling GIMP. After starting gimp just check your windows eventlog. I however couldn't reproduce it on my much older System (Which is a intel i5 2500k / 970 GTX/ Windows 10 64x).
It happens on my: Windows 10 64x / Ryzen 5 5600X / RX6700

### Reproduction
Is the bug reproducible?
Happens rarely with the debug version.
No image was loaded (empty GUI) and Gimp was minimized to taskbar. Crash occured "out of nothing".
### Additional information
Installed the dev. version after Gimp has been EXTREMLY unstable (5-10 crashes a day, GUI stalls, 1 core busy). Tried to track it down. Developement version seems to be more stable, but still crashes - without any log entry or bug report.https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-software/-/issues/2483State change from installed to installing is not OK ( while updating flatpak ...2024-03-18T17:22:51ZSidState change from installed to installing is not OK ( while updating flatpak app )On 1b2f6364c:

--Used Ellipse Select to create a circle. Then used Bucket Fill to fill selection. Random fill areas appeared outside the selection area. No previous selection had been made, so 'add to selection' would have nothing to do with it.
--Opened Gaussian Blur. Same type of artifacts immediately appeared, but disappeared as soon as I adjusted the blur settings.
--Opened Gaussian Blur later in the project. Artifacts immediately appeared and did not go away while adjusting settings.
--At every instance, I was able to erase the artifacts, so this was not a critical failure.
--Another GIMP user said he had the same issue happen with 2.10.10 but hadn't had it happen in a while.

## Description
It seems that shortcuts won't work with the on-screen keyboard on the Windows platform, which is an important usability issue, especially for creators with disabilities making using the menus difficult (see original mailing list discussion).
Reproduction steps:
1/ Select part of an image.
2/ Hit ctrl + x in the on-screen keyboard
Expected result: the select piece of image should be cut.
Actual result: nothing happens. One has to go through the menu instead.
As far as I understood, the on-screen keyboard works ok inside text fields, but not for actions out of a text field (for instance on canvas).
The original reporter used GIMP 2.8.20 on Windows 7 and apparently tried also other on-screen keyboards, but the issue was the same there as well.

Moving the slider with having the preview on.
No exact steps. It happens from time to time unpredictably after some use. Likely due to some inconsistency in object allocation.

Pressing F1 brings up a gimp message window with the text "help-browser Message ould not open 'https://docs.gimp.org/2.10/en/gimp-help.xml' for reading: Operation not supported
Perhaps you are missing GIO backends and need to install GVFS?" - followed by an 'ok' button
I am new to linux and GIMP and have no idea what the last part about GIO & GVFS means.

- Version: GNOME nautilus 46.beta
- Distribution: Fedora Workstation 40 Prerelease
- Also happens with development version: Yes
# Steps to reproduce <!-- Explain in detail how the issue can be reproduced. -->
1. Choose "English (United States)" Language with "Sverige" Formats in GNOME Settings
![Screenshot_from_2024-03-07_19-00-50](/uploads/7a5aa1e0782b27dd83019af65a04a312/Screenshot_from_2024-03-07_19-00-50.png)
2. Choose "Detailed" Date and Time Format in Nautilus
3. Observe that the time format follows US Locale for date (but Swedish 24H format over US AM/PM).
# Expected Behavior
I would expect the date to be formatted using Swedish Locale (2024-03-07 19:03) instead of US Locale (03/07/2024 19:03).
# Actual Behavior
The time format follows US Locale for date (but Swedish 24H format over US AM/PM for the time portion :) ).

# Additional info
I haven't done anything in terms of setting the locale environment variables outside of GNOME. But just to make sure, this is the output of `locale`:
```
A user is attempting to search for and open a file.
### Desired behavior
Once nautilus is no longer in the foreground (or a file is opened from search, maybe) it doesn't continue searching indefinitely.
### Benefits of the solution
Often once I've opened a file from a nautilus search I wonder a few minutes later why my laptop's fans have started spinning up and my battery drain is higher than normal. I check Usage and see nautilus is using a lot of CPU and resources. I then remember that I opened the file from a search and the search is still going...
I think nautilus could potentially stop a search if...
1. A file is opened from the search
2. Nautilus is no longer in the foreground
There could also a prompt to continue searching. I think something should at least alert the user that a search is still occurring.
A dialog that popped up ~20 seconds after nautilus is no longer in the foreground which said "Do you want to continue searching /x/y/z/?" would be a minimal way to fix this.
### Possible drawbacks
If a user wants to run a very large/long search in the background, there would need to be a way to prevent the search from stopping.
