Make it easier to start an activity in the past
If I forget to start an activity in Timetrack when I actually start doing the activity, correcting that mistake is hard: I have to
- go to Timetrack,
- type in the activity and start it,
- stop it so an entry appears in the activities list,
- select that entry,
- click ‘Edit Activity’ in the burger menu,
- change the start time (minus X minutes from now),
- work out how much longer the duration should be (by mentally adding X minutes) and edit that too,
- save it,
- resume the activity.
It would be easier if there was some way to specify the start time when starting an activity in the first place (step 2), perhaps with a separate entry, or some additional optional syntax which could be entered in the activity entry (say “Catching up with e-mail @ 08:25” or “Catching up with e-mail @ 2019-11-13T19:22”).
